If you are finding your current or old smartphone smaller now, there is some good news for you! LG has come up with a new addition which is expected to hit Korea next month; and the European markets summer this year.
The new smartphone is named LG Optimus Big, and as the name goes, it really is gigantic. A peep into the new phone’s photo shows that it is larger than the iPhone 3GS too. So folks who love bigger things will surely love this one. Well, when we actually got into some depth of analysis ‘how’ big it really is, we were slightly disappointed. A comparison between LG Optimus Big with its competitors like Samsung Galaxy S II as well as HTC Desire HD reveals that while the screens of each of these are pretty similar, the only advantage LG has is that it uses Nova Screen, the much talked about technology. Not only that, LG Optimus Big is believed to be twice as bright as the other phones that use the more conventional Super AMOLED Display. It also uses up less power and claims to give deeper blacks and purer whites than most of the other LED screens.
Isn’t it contrary to our belief that the new technological advancements were moving towards sleeker and smaller gadgets in the 21st century rather than bulky and big? Only time will tell as LG prepares itself for the launch of this new innovation.
