Millions of residents in the UK currently own smart phones. These phones have become such necessity that people have gone to weirdest lengths to procure one, including opting for helpful programs like mobile phone recycling to earn some extra cash for their purchases. Recycling mobile phones is definitely a green option that comes with easy money as an added advantage.
A new kind of smart phone has been launched by Samsung in the United States which is actually a hybrid of a smart phone and a Tablet PC. This phone will make it easier for users to talk as well as use the device for taking down notes. The idea of launching such phone stems from the fact that a large number of people nowadays carry a secondary mobile device like a Tablet PC or an iPad to take down notes. Samsung intends to bring the best of both worlds in one single gadget.
The new smart phone named Galaxy Note features a 5.3 inch touch screen along with a stylus. The price of the phone is around $300 in the United States, and will be slightly less when it is available in the United Kingdom. As of now, the Galaxy note is available only with AT&T in the US, although UK residents can purchase other models of Samsung through local providers. Samsung revealed that the idea was to launch a flexible mobile gadget which though had the features of a Tablet PC, but was also small enough to hold up to ones ears.
Many companies have tried launching similar products in the marketplace but have not so far been able to replicate the iPad experience.

Blackberry phones have been recorded as the highest amongst the most traded in phones for cash.
From all the mobile phones that were sent for recycling, Blackberry was ranked as the number one. Among £2.65 million mobile phones which were recycled in the month of January, Blackberry phones accounted for the maximum number. With an average of £104 that was offered for each handset, Apple 3GS also topped the list.
Other phones turned in for recycling included HTC Desire, Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Wildfire. Blackberry suffered an unfavourable reputation last year and this could potentially be a reason why they constituted the majority of recycled phones early this year. Looks like many contracts must have got over and consumers decided to recycle their Blackberrys and even earn some cash to use it for buying a new phone. Apple 4S too is gaining tremendous interest as a nice phone to have in the year 2012.
The study regarding cell phone recycling also showed that Blackberrys were up 28% of all the smart phone sales. The figure, though worthwhile, is still very low considering the number of Blackberrys turned in for recycling. The last month itself has seen some 40,000 mobile phone getting recycled per recycler. This figure of mobile phone recycling is astounding and what is even more surprising is that most of the phones sent in have either little or no damage, and are in a good shape. The owner just wanted to upgrade and these old phones are being resold for £150.

Our precious children surely deserve the care and protection that we received as children. I feel saddened each time I hear about incidents where children end up missing or are ill-treated worldwide. A USA-based company Sprint has decided to launch a cell phone recycling programme which will help the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and has already been successful in bringing a huge sum of money to achieve its mission.
Such a programme however does not exist in the UK, but that definitely does not mean that citizens cannot fulfil their responsibility. They too can recycle their old and unused mobile phone and help needy children. This money can then be given to any charity which helps children. Even a direct offering if not a donation to any charity will help children who need your help. So why deny them?
Cell phone recycling works great as it helps in earning you some cash. You could earn some more too if the mobile phone you have on block is a popular model. However it just does not matter what is the amount since you are only helping the needy, particularly children, and any amount is of great importance. This is precisely the reason why this programme in the US has fascinated people from all across the world. Apart from protecting the environment, this precious contribution that cell phone recycling can make to the lives of the children, is definitely a worthy cause.

This year is seeing a great boost in recycling of mobile phones.
Cell phone recycling is becoming more evident as plenty of new devices are now getting released in the market. Many people nowadays are becoming aware of the plethora of benefits that cell phone recycling has to offer. It just does not matter if the person is merely replacing his old flip phone with a smart phone or upgrading his existing smart phone to a new one as the advantages of recycling process benefit all.
New mobile phones continually get released. A new Samsung, Apple, Blackberry or other brands keep getting introduced in the market from time to time. Mobile phone users do get tempted each time a new and popular smart phone makes an entry in the market. Due to the prices or even the existing contracts people are engaged in, many people are yet to upgrade to a new smart phone. Well, no points for guessing that they are more inclined to upgrading with the 4G broadband included too. People are showing a greater interest in the smart phones and their advantages. The majority of phones you see these days trading at the cell phone retailers’ stores in many high street markets are smart phones instead of cheap flip phones.
There is little to no demand of the basic phones. Since there is an application for almost anything, even a person with very basic and minimal technological interests will find some interesting app worth having on their smart phones. And as the new phones increase, mobile phone recycling simultaneously increases too.

Upgrade to a new phone now to benefit from the new age mobile phone apps.
Mobile phone recycling is an excellent method to help environmental cause as well as to earn some handy cash for your new mobile phone. For those of you who have already bought a new mobile phone, the money earned from recycling of old phone can be used to pay off for new phone or towards increasing your bank balance a bit. The whole point is that opting for mobile phone recycling can earn you some easy cash and make available some new age apps as well.
It is no news that the coming age is going to belong to mobile phone applications. What more, now there is an app for waste disposal and recycling too. Known as My-Waste, the app is free to download for tablet and mobile phone users. The app sends out a gentle reminder to users about the time when they need to get rid of their unused, recyclable things. Although available only regionally as of now, it is hoped that the new app will soon catch up in the mobile world and will be available in other countries too.
At the moment, it is a Canada centric app that reminds Canadian citizens to put out their garbage or to go in for recycling. Though you’ll not be able to download this app right away in UK, there is no reason that you cannot benefit from mobile phone recycling. Recycling e-waste helps in keeping our environment clean and green as we avoid using landfills that way. Perhaps, one of you can build your own version of the My-Waste app and make it a revolutionary one for UK too.

The last four years have seen a tremendous increase in popularity of the concept of receiving cash for old cell phones.
If you think recycling of old mobile phones is a new concept, well, it is not. What is new however is the fact that people are selling it for hard cash and that has recently become very popular. More and more publications have released online in the past two years which talk about how it works. I am sure there are many customers like me who would like to obtain a little bit from the old phones, which initially cost so much.
Due to these consumer needs, companies such as sellyouroldmobile.info are willing to assist in meeting them. They are now making it possible to sell mobile phones to company, which will not only refurbish and recycle, but also resell them if likely. The customer is also paid to send in their mobile phone. This process permits individuals to gain some extra cash for things, which are lying useless at home.
Many of us have at least 1 old handset that is not being used, if not two or may be more. This happens because we have absolutely no clue on what can be done with the unused phones. Nowadays it is very easy to simply turn in your old mobile phone and get some cash instead. Only a little research is required to figure out the going rate for any old mobile on an appropriate website.

Due to the amount of money that one can make out of old mobile phones, the trading of such phones for cash has gained immense popularity in the last 4 years.
Though cell phone recycling is an old concept, but selling old phones for cash is just very recent and popular. Only about four years back, this concept of cash against old mobile phones became popular online and the previous two years have witnessed an increasing number of guides being released online on how such a process works. A majority of consumers like to obtain at least something for the mobile phone on which they once spent so much money.
To meet such needs of the consumers, many companies as a result are coming forward and sellyourmobile.info is one of them. It is now possible to sell mobile phones to companies, which will take charge of refurbishing, recycling and reselling them if there is a possibility. They even pay out money for sending in your old mobile. This allows one to pick up some extra cash for unused items lying around at home.
A minimum of one handset, if not two or more, is what all of us must be having which is not being used at present. The primary reason behind people stocking up old handsets is due to the fact that they just do not know what to do with it. But now, it is much easier – just toss in your old cell phone for some cash after you complete your research on an online recycling site.

It is believed that the new Nokia Ace ads might provide a much needed push to the mobile phone recycling.
Microsoft plans to spend in excess of £63.9 million on the new advertising campaign. The campaign will be launched along with the Nokia Ace. Experts are of the opinion that this move will encourage many people to go in for mobile for recycling. It is commonly noticed that launch of such new phones lead to a push in recycling. Many people start looking for options to dispose their old phones and mobile phone recycling provides them with the much needed answer. What more, it even fetches them some handy cash.
Nokia Ace will hit the shelves in March this year and its marketing campaign will begin a little earlier to ensure that buyers become aware of its arrival. Microsoft plans to push the Windows Phone option and will sell the Nokia in US at AT&T. The phone will be officially launched in the UK a short while after the US launch.
Microsoft presently owns a 5.4% market share that is comparatively much lesser than the 46.3% market share that the Android platform enjoys. This major difference is the reason why Microsoft wants to launch the new campaign at the electronics show in Las Vegas. In addition, the campaign aspires to encourage more people to opt for mobile phone recycling. It provides a great way to make some handy cash that can be used towards the purchase of the new phone.

Mobile phones are extremely necessary for many of us. A survey was conducted before the festive celebrations begun for this year and it aimed at finding out the number of people who intended using their mobile phones to either make phone calls or send text messages. The results showed that around 62 per cent people has decided to make calls and a huge 55 per cent would send text messages to their loved ones. There is a high likelihood, though the survey did not disclose any such results, that people will make use of their Christmas present smart phone or the new iPhone as the mobile phone recycling was in full swing a few weeks before Christmas.
Communication through mobile phones has increased manifold and even more with the new social media platforms. Messages were posted by many individuals on Facebook and Twitter wishing them a Merry Christmas but they even made phone calls and sent out texts. T-Mobile states that their interest has always been in knowing what families like to do during holidays. Do they like to spread festive messages by using technology or in a more personalized way?
According to another survey, UK citizens spend around £186 million online for Christmas day and majority of this is towards sales of mobile phones. It is very evident that cell phones are a part of Christmas holidays to make phone calls or send messages or simply to find movie times.

To be able to make use of the new platform on Windows phones, the mobile phone owners could be tempted to recycle their old phones.
One generally gets tempted towards cell phone recycling as one receives cash by turning in any old phone but a new development in the UK has got everyone excited which states that a new entry level Windows enabled phone will be launched in the UK. We hope that more people will be motivated to recycle their old cell phones in order to get the new platform. For the US and the UK, T Mobile and Nokia will be joining to bring the new platform in these countries.
So which phone is considered to be the ideal in our future’s smartphone wave? It is the new Nokia Lumia 710. As soon as the new platform is released in both US and the UK, the phones will be recycled much more in both the countries.
Nokia has recently made a statement that it will provide US with a 4G network, largest in the world. For family and friends to be able to communicate easily, they have also introduced the People Hub features. And that is not enough. Many other applications and tools can be enjoyed such as the Netflix, T Mobile TV and a leading internet browser. Nokia Lumia 710 will probably be one of the most popular mobile phones in 2012, as per Juniper Research, essentially due to the presence of the new operating platform Windows 8.
